Excelsior Fire District Leadership Transition

Please be advised that Fire Chief, Curt Mackey, is no longer with the Excelsior Fire District, effective April 8, 2026. The Fire Board made the difficult decision to make this change earlier this afternoon after extensive discussion and deliberation. We would like to thank Mr. Mackey for his dedication and service to the Fire District. In the interim, Assistant Chief, Nate Basinger, will serve as a temporary interim Fire Chief as we chart a new path forward.
