Over the weekend, our Duty Crew had a fantastic save involving a patient experiencing a severe allergic reaction after multiple bee stings. Recognizing the emergency, our firefighters quickly administered epinephrine, immediately improving the patient’s ability to breathe.
This was one of our first uses of epinephrine since recently adding it to our fire apparatus, giving our crews another important tool to provide lifesaving care when every second counts
